Karmelo Bermejo uses the contradictions of Capitalism as conceptual space to develop his actions. For Volta 5 he will present one of his latest projects “On a working day, all the tickets for 7:00 am bus from Bilbao to Madrid were purchased with public money so the bus will complete its route empty”.

The installation consisted on two photographs, the tickets purchased by the artist and a video documented the journey.

Karmelo Bermejo has shown at “No Future”, Bloomberg Space, London curated by David G. Torres, Sacha Craddock y Graham Gussin; TEA, Tenerife; Centro Cultural Montehermoso, Vitoria.
